Celeste Zugec

Celeste and her husband Chuck are from Palgrave, Ontario, Canada. They are the parents of two grown, married children, and grandparents to six grandchildren.

Celeste’s identity in Christ and the power of Holy Spirit in her life strengthened and enabled her to overcome the bitter memory of the suicide death of her youngest brother, abuse, drug addiction, nine years in the occult and her own depression. “Not that I’ve arrived, by any means,” says Celeste. “But, His power continues to bring me to a place of peace in the gentle reminder that He is indeed with me and that, ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’. “I want to encourage women that in their deepest, darkest moments, when they don’t “feel” that He’s there, they can depend upon God’s Word and His faithfulness to ‘Complete the good work that He has begun’ in them.” We are over-comers by the “Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony,” not by our feelings.

Celeste’s vocal styles include traditional choir soprano; folk; rock; country; lounge and blues all of which she now uses to worship the Lord. Through her ministry in music she has witnessed His power to bring joy and healing into the lives of men and women both in and outside of prisons. She is a gospel recording artist with 2 CD’s and for 3 years sat on the Gospel Music Advisory Committee for the JUNO Awards.
