Lending Library

Connected Women is establishing a lending library of materials that churches can use in their women's ministries. Several of the items listed below are offered as loaners by churches in our region.
 
We are anxious to provide more studies and I invite you to suggest materials that your church would like to use. I would also be happy to hear from you regarding any studies that your church has used and is willing to loan out. If you wish to borrow anything from the list below, or have any suggestions, offers, etc. please contact me at heather@febcentral.ca.

1. Breaking Free - Video series by Beth Moore
An 11 week, daily study of the Scriptures that will enable women to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, this in-depth study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today's believers. Beth points out the obstacles that hinder our relationship with God and shows how to remove them. As you identify spiritual strongholds in your life, you will progress on the journey toward greater freedom in Christ.

2. Daniel - DVD series by Beth Moore
A faith-building study of prophecy that will help you learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures— to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and confront temptations and threats—today's believers face many of the same trials.

Schedule one 12-week study or two six-week studies with your small group or Sunday school and examine the life of Daniel in an extremely contemporary way. Then explore the fascinating prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Christ. Five daily studies and 1 video worksheet per week show you how individuals can live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society.

3. Jesus the One & Only - DVD series by Beth Moore
Come along on a life-changing journey which will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake with the Master, and, finally, on the road with the Savior - His face set toward the cross. This 10-week, in-depth, interactive study includes personal, daily assignments and weekly group sessions with video response sheets.

4. Experiencing God - Video series by Henry Blackaby
God is not simply the subject of our Bible study. Rather, He is a person who loves and longs to enter into relationship with us. In this contemporary classic Blackaby and King will share with you how God longs to share Himself, His purposes and His ways with you so that you can more fully share in His mission to this broken world. Seize this opportunity to experience the width and length, height and depth of God's great love for you. This is a 13-week interactive discipleship course.

5. The Vision of His Glory - Video and DVD series by Anne Graham Lotz
The book of Revelation was written to help Christians who are experiencing pressure and problems, stress and suffering, crisis and change, to keep their focus on Jesus at such a time as this. Based on the book by the same title, The Vision of His Glory is a seven-session video seminar on DVD that is ideal for small group studies at your church or home. In the first session, Anne leads a workshop that teaches participants how to listen to God’s voice speak through His Word. This workshop prepares viewers for the remaining six sessions involving personal study using a workbook, followed by small group discussion. Each one-hour video message, which Anne filmed at The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, then serves to summarize the unit.

6. Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit by Beth Moore

Through this study, women will come to appreciate the supernatural aspects of the fruit and that a person cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on their own. Beth Moore challenges women to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate walk with the Spirit of God. As a person walks with God, He develops the fruit of the Spirit in them. A Spirit-filled life truly results in living beyond ourselves.
 
7.  Walking by Faith: Lessons I Learned in the Dark by Jennifer Rothschild
By examining the practical differences between walking by sight and walking by faith, Jennifer offers valuable spiritual lessons on: taking risks, giving God control, trusting in His will, preserving through hardship, and being guided by the Truth. Created especially for women, this interactive Bible study promises to be an eye-opening experience.

This material is designed for seven weekly sessions including an introductory meeting and features six weeks of interactive material for daily personal study.

8. A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place by Beth Moore
A 10 week study that explores the fascinating account of the building of the Old Testament tabernacle, the significance of its intricate design, its pivotal role in God's eternal plan, the grand fulfillment of its purpose by Jesus Christ, and its variety of meanings for your walk with God today.
Perhaps no Old Testament event so dramatically illustrates God's persistent desire to relate to His children as the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness. Through the tabernacle God initiated a deeper relationship with His Chosen People by bringing reconciliation and revealing His glory. 9. Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman by Beth Moore

This is a 9 week study of the Old Testament story of Esther where Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story is to our lives today. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.
